How we score

The D&I Index measures an organisation’s performance across five characteristics: gender, ethnicity, age, disability and LGBTQ+.

Each of the five characteristics is scored using four weighted measures: representation, tenure, talent area and pay differentials at every level.

Scores are calculated against sector baselines and location, to ensure the scoring is fair. No subjective data is taken into account which makes the D&I Index truly data-driven.
